First time making SOCKS! I FEEL like the title of the book " I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M KNITTING SOCKS"
I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH YARN THIS THIN, WITHOUT
Doubling / Tripling IT!. At first I was getting frustrated , no insistent gratification here! LOL. However my frustrations are quickly becoming amazement.
Feb. 1st:
MaliMoo "you have to try socks" you will love the challenge! " frustration galore" size 3.25 needles. 2 hours of knitting ribbing and only 2 inches of work :0(
Feb. 2nd:
Ok, I stared this and I have to finish it. Besides " love the way the self striping is coming out."I need to make these 8 inches if it kills me, by this evening.
Feb. 2nd :
10:00 p.m. 8in completed and stating on the heel.
Feb.3rd :
4:20 a.m. Can’t Sleep , have to finish the heel, heel flap, STOP 5:20 a.m
I HAVE TO GO TO WORK!
Feb.3rd :
12:00p.m. Lunch knitted a quarter of the morning and finished my gusset and decreases. Now working on my FOOT! I’m SO excited!
Feb.3rd:
I became a sock Slut ! Stopped work on my socks for the evening and stated a pair of baby socks instead. Will continue on sock in the morning.

Wow.. I hope your supervisor does not read this and see how much knitting you are doing at work :)
